Linda and Jill had an enjoyable afternoon on March 8 (International Women’s Day). After being tested for covid, we got to spend time with a group of residents at Queenswood Villa and do a presentation about the WI. We talked about the history and goals of the WI; how and when it started; and what the organization has accomplished. We were able to show them our website and describe the activities and projects that we have been working on in the last few years. They were very interested in the presentation and asked questions about Navan and the things we do. The chef had made beautiful cupcakes for all of us and at the end we gathered together for a picture.
