The Navan WI Student Bursary

Navan WI is pleased to support the studies of young women in our area by offering a bursary to successful candidates who meet the specified criteria.

Application is due by March 31st.

The Eastern Area WI Scholarship

Applicants must have completed at least one year of post-secondary study; and must be able to demonstrate volunteer accomplishments, and an interest in community involvement.

Application is due by September 1st.

The Federated Women’s Institutes of Ontario (FWIO)

The FWIO offers the following scholarships for undergraduate, post graduate, and continuing studies:

The FWIO Provincial Scholarship – This scholarship is provided for students furthering their formal education as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution (in their first year);

The Helen M. McKercher Scholarship – This scholarship was established in 1976 to recognize Helen McKercher’s years of service to FWIO as Director of the Women’s Institute and Home Economics Service; and

The 90th Anniversary Scholarship – This scholarship was established in 1987 as four regional scholarships (valued at $250 each) and presented annually to Women’s Institute (WI) Members upgrading their education, this is now one provincial scholarship.

Applications are due by July 15th.
