The WI was pleased to be part of the celebration on June 22 when the Navan Community Association joined forces with the Lions Club and the Cumberland Township Agricultural Society to offer members of the Navan community a free evening of food and entertainment. The purpose of the event was to highlight and celebrate the community spirit which brought the community together to help each other after the storm of on May 21. The Lions club cooked hamburgers and hotdogs for the crowd and the WI provided desserts for the more than 350 people who attended. It was a great event and we were proud to be a part of it.
