For three Mondays in November, members of our Navan WI and some members of the “Notty Knitters” group met at Heritage P.S. to teach the grade 7/8 students there how to crochet. We had two classes of students for an hour each, and were able to teach them the basics of crocheting. Each student ended up with a finished product (either a small wreath, a book mark or a bracelet). We enjoyed meeting the students and, as one told her teacher, “I liked it when they told us how well we were doing!”
