The Navan Branch of the Federated Women’s Institute of Ontario hosted a tea at St. Mary’s Church Hall in Navan on Sunday, February 17, 2013. Twenty-eight ladies came to the tea including members from the Cumberland and Leonard Branches.
Anne-Marie Potvin, our District president, greeted guests as they arrived. Navan Branch members donated a wonderful array of sandwiches and baked goods.
Joyce Bradley played the organ for the Ode, The Mary Stewart Collect, O Canada and the grace. Our president, Pam O’Donoughue welcomed everyone and personally poured the tea. The cake was cut by Anne-Marie Potvin.
