On March 24, 2026, the Navan W.I. was pleased to donate to the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre (EORC) Emergency Food Cupboard, which services seniors in need and young mothers. For three Mondays in November, members of our Navan WI and some members of the “Notty Knitters” group met at Heritage P.S. to teach the grade 7/8 students there how to crochet. We had two classes of students for an hour each, and were able to teach them the basics of crocheting. Each student ended
