Blooms
Friendship is a blossom that, Unlike nature’s flowers, Survives the winds and winter’s chill And blooms in darkest hours, Life gives no greater happiness Than in ones heart to know A true friend waits in readiness To help, come weal or woe.

Quote for november
Under the leafless boughs of maple trees, November winds have strewn the red and gold Of autumn foliage-blown a fragrant mist Of tangy, blue tinged smoke to catch and hold. Nostalgic dreams of other seasons gone. The wind blows sudden rain into the night, And patterns frost lace on the barren shrubs To glisten silver in the morning light. November walks abroad throughout the land Leaving devastation in its wake. It turns the blue of clouds to sullen gray, And whips up angry whitecaps on the lake. November is a wanton and a jest, But there is beauty in the way she goes Proudly, disdainfully flaunting her winds, Sweeping a pathway for the coming snows.
