For three Mondays in November, members of our Navan WI and some members of the “Notty Knitters” group met at Heritage P.S. to teach the grade 7/8 students there how to crochet. We had two classes of students for an hour each, and were able to teach them the basics of crocheting. Each student ended

Abaigeal is currently studying Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and we are honoured to be able to give her some support. She came to our May meeting to talk about her studies and we were happy to meet

Once again, the women of WI got together to gather cards, write special notes to our seniors, and deliver the cards with candy to our retirement living communities. As well, the students of St. Theresa, St. Dominic, and École élémentaire catholique Saint-Joseph d’Orléans participated in this effort. We delivered a whopping total of 756 cards

The Navan WI wanted to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication to the community of the team at Medici Pharmacy so we surprised owner Norm Quesnel with a plant from our group. He was very surprised and pleased to get it but stressed that credit for the outstanding reputation of Medici is due

The Navan WI donated $500 to the Ukrainian Relief Fund through the Canadian Red Cross, which will be matched by the Canadian government.  This is an extremely important cause which was unanimously supported by all our members.
